Topic:ID this Axe?? Help needed!!

    Here is a picture of the refurbished hatchet, also another made in Sweden axe I found that has no makers mark on it.

    Ooops Emma, don’t hold your axe to close to the fire, the handle will get warm, ejecting moisture in the wood – we all know wood is hygroscopic – those cell walls will constrict in there, a gap between the eye walls will open, the handle will shift, compressing the wood even more and you will have a real drama on your hands.
