I had the above axe replaced by a friend (from Delsbo) at Gränsfors Bruk on 29 June 2016. A piece had broken from the blade, close to the lower corner, heel of bit. I have visited Gränsfors Bruk a number of times and have purchased several axes for friends & family. Does the warranty commence from the date of the replacement or the date of the original purchase – I do have the original record of purchase somewhere? And can the warranty registration be carried out online via the internet? Otherwise it is a bit difficult from Australia, although we do have another trip to Sweden planned in 2017 (<span id=”result_box” class=”short_text” lang=”sv”><span class=””>midsommar of course).
I have attached scanned copies of both pages of the warranty card.
